Check out the Safer Sex & Birth Control FAQ for info on different brands and consumer ratings.

However, no condom can guarantee that you won't get pregnant, which is one reason why it's a good idea to team condoms up with another method of birth control.

Safer Sex & Birth Control FAQ

A Simple Condom Primer

The most effective condom is the good quality latex condom that you use correctly. Really. You'll find several other threads with our personal favorites in them...Durex, Kimono, and others. Many of our users have experienced problems with Trojans. But the bottom line is that condoms are much more effective if used properly with additional water-based, condom-safe lube (like Astroglide, KY Liquid, etc.).

Keep in mind too that condoms aren't just about preventing pregnancy, they protect both you and your partner from STD transmission.
