Hello, I am on sprintec, the borth control, and I have been taking it for about 3 or 4 months now. My boyfriend and I do have unprotected sex now. Safe or not that isn't the problem. I take my pill ever night at the same time. A week and a half ago, i moved forward my time from 11:33PM to 11:07PM. And on last Friday i took my pill at 12:20AM because thats when I got home. i havent missed a day of taking my pill yet. So the problem is I havent gotten my period. My boyfriend is flipping out, I am too, but i am trying to stay calm. I usually get my period about 5 days before today every month so Im a little worried.... What do you guys think? Ive been very active, im in volleyball season. 3 games a week, barley any sleep trying to get my homework done. I just got done feom being sick... Idk i just want to be able not to worry. So, please pleasee please help.

I appreciate every reply, the more the better! Thanks again (:

It sounds to me like you have been taking your pill as directed, so a pregnancy risk is unlikely.

Lots of stress, lack of sleep as well as exercising more can all delay a withdrawal bleed, so that may be what is going on here.

If you are worried, though, the best thing to do is to take a pregnancy test. Since you are already late, you can take it now for accurate results.
