So much of pop culture, be it in pornography, films, art, etc..., promotes shaving pubic hair, making it seem like hair is a turn-off. I think it's really cool that AFP is taking a completely difference stand on the issue. (Plus, the music video is so fun!)

That was so awesome that it made the universe explode and reform into a new, strange but wonderful universe with the best selection of edible merkins in any dimension.

This is a coincidence, I was watching this again last night and then today here is a post about it. AFP is just awesome, and not only is she singing about people's right to keep their pubic hair on but on YouTube there are some awesome live versions with Kim Boekbinder doing a verse in the middle about the right to remove it too, which makes it even more about choice and bodily autonomy. She also has *gasp* armpit hair! Shock horror in a music video! I almost think that is even cooler because as the general public tend not to see your pubic hair or lack of it, armpits are more often on display. And since I've stopped shaving them I've been really shocked at the number of people who feel the need to come up to you while you're wearing a singlet top or something and tell you how disgusting you are and how you shouldn't be seen in public like that.
