ok, so here's the deal. I have to write a research paper for my english class. It's a cultural analysis, and I get to choose. But the only thing that I could think of that interested me enough to write a whole 3000 word paper on was teenage homosexuality. Now, my main problem is that I have to use different sources as a kind of "lens" to view the world of teenage homosexuality, and most of what I can find either contradicts everything else I've found, or is just plain unhelpful.

The Question:
Does anyone have any ideas on where I can find some (mostly) unbiased works that can give me some insight into this culture that I have to research? All help appreciated. Thanks,

Have you searched academic journals yet? If not, take a look there. There are several journals that focus specifically on GBLT issues and many others that publish articles in the area. Try a database like Academic Search Premier (you can find this via your local library or maybe your school) and see what you come up with.

If you tell us what your basic thesis is (as in, what aspect of queer youth culture are you looking at, or what point are you looking to make), too, we might be able to be of more help.
