wow. *giggles* I have never seen Bill O'Reilly so intimidated! Betty Dodson was on the show at the very end. She plugged her new book "The Joy of Partnered Sex" and discussed her work as a "sex coach" (although, isn't the term usually 'sex surrogate'?). O'Reilly discussed whether this would be a grey area of prostitution, and Dodson agreed that she was pushing a few boundaries. Anyway, it was a pretty good interview. Had it gone any longer, I'd bet Mr. O'Reilly would have loosened his tie.

Well, generally, "sex surrogate" refers to someone who actually has sex with a client as part of or as an adjunct to sex therapy. I believe that what Betty Dodson does as a "sex coach" is to watch, advise and occasionally provide hands-on guidance while a client masturbates or has sex with their own partner. It certainly gets into some of the same grey areas as sex surrogacy, but it's not quite the same thing. Posts: 6944 | From: UK | Registered: May 2002
