both are documentary films about human reproduction that include scenes of conception and birth as well as interviews with couples who are expecting. I recently saw both air on PBS. Life's Greatest Miracle is a more recent version of the miracle of Life (a classic educational film). Both show pretty much the same thing, teach the same thing, but I prefer the John Lithgow voiceover in LGM to the corny lady on The Miracle of Life.

anyway, I say don't be deterred by it's "educational" properties, and just rent it, watch it, and have a better understanding of what goes on in your body during conception. I'm sure many of the questions that are asked at ST about pregnancy would be cleared up by just watching these vids. Besides, all that in vivo footage of the inside of the human body is pretty freakin' cool!

and now The Miracle of Life is avaiable on DVD. very cool!
