So I'm going to be a college freshmen this fall and I want to be prepared. I want to know the basics in birth control or other things that I need to know before going to college regarding my sexual health. I just want to be prepared in case I do decide to be sexually involved with someone.

Hi mariie_islas, and welcome to Scarleteen!
I think a great place to start would be to look at the links at the very top of the page that redirect to articles on our main site. If you click through, say, the "sexual health" and "relationships" links and read the articles there, that will set you on the right track. You can also search for any specific topic you're interested in by using the search box at the top-right of any page on our main site.
If there's anything more specific, we can certainly point you in the right direction, but birth control & sexual health are such broad topics that it's a good idea to dig into the basics a bit, and then ask for clarification if you need it!
