So, correct me if I'm wrong... I thought that Obamacare was supposed to offer free birth control (at least the pill). I was talking with my doctor the other day, and she even mentioned that. However, she also said "But for some reason, we aren't giving it out for free yet. I haven't seen it come through the system yet." I go to Group Health.
What are the facts surrounding this? Is there a way I can actually get free birth control, or do I just have to wait for this to move its way through the system? .-.

Yes, the new rules state that private insurance companies can't charge copays on birth control. However, it's going to take time for the rules to take effect. Whenever there are changes like this, it takes time to trickle down.
