Sometimes when I have sex in the doggy style position, I feel a really sharp pain in my cervix. The part that confuses me is that there are days when I don't feel any pain at all and others when the pain is unbearable.
I looked online and I found it might have something to do with my monthly cycle and ovulation making my cervix lower, but I've been on the BC pill for years. Doesn't that mean that I don't ovulate? would my cervix still move and cause pain sometimes?

Thanks for your help.

The cervix isn't static every day of every cycle just because one is using hormonal contraception. It can still be in different positions at different times, and have different levels of sensitivity.

If you find that nothing else is different between the times it hurts and the times it feels great THAN what time of your cycle it is, then I think it's sound to think this is probably about that for you.
