I just asked this on our Facebook page the other day, and wanted to ask it here, too.

Online -- expressly, not in-person or school resources -- if there was NO Scarleteen, what active sites for young adults would you go to instead to get your sex education and to have discussions like we have here?

(I say active because when we asked this question on our FB, a couple users listed sites that are no longer online or stopped updating a while ago.)

Before I discovered Scarleteen, I read and learned a lot about sex and relationships from I didn't really engage in a lot of discussions there though. There are forums, but I didn't use them at the time.

While it can be more related to puberty, I used to visit a website called govteen (I can't remember the url but a google search should bring it up) It has both a female-only and a male-only subforum and also a forum for both gendered people to reply. It doesn't have any focus on Orientation as far as I remember
