okay so ive taken ortho tricyclen for a month and im supposed to get my period during the week of the sugar pills but what if my period isnt over by the time im supposed to start a new pack? do i delay starting a new pack or do i start it and my period is shortened??

You start the new pack.

That will not automatically stop the bleeding, by the way, even though it may stop in the next day or two of the new pack regardless. But if your withdrawal bleed continues into the new pack, that's fine and doesn't mean anything is wrong.

My first pack of the generic, my period didn't start until halfway through the sugar pills. But, it's getting regular now.
