My boyfriend and I are starting to do sexual things. I know that he isn't circumcised as we have discussed it, but i havn't seen his penis yet, only felt. I was wandering that if i was to give him oral sex would his foreskin get in the way or will it just feel normal im a little confused?

The penis is designed to function with a foreskin. Globally, and historically, more men have them than men who do not.

Foreskins don't get in the way of any kind of sex, you simply incorporate them like, for instance, a partner might incorporate your inner labia into oral sex.

I'm not sure what you mean by asking if it would "feel normal?" Normal to whom? Compared to what?

Well, anytime we're engaged in a sexual activity with a partner we need to have some thinking involved when it comes to what's feeling good to everyone, what parts are sensitive, what we need to be careful with per pain or injury, the works. And with fellatio, that's the case whether someone is circumcised or not.

Hey, imogen. I just wanted to pop in because, like yours, my boyfriend is uncircumcised. When I found out I was kind of surprised, since I'd assumed he'd be circumcised because I thought most men in the US are (it's actually a practice that is somewhat decreasing in frequency, since it only got popular because someone thought it would make guys masturbate less. (that guy was Dr. Kellogg, who also thought his Kellogg's corn flakes would 'cure' masturbation [Razz] ) Doctors have since come out and said there's no real medical basis for circumcision) But foreskins are actually marvelous things, which is probably why they're put there by nature in the first place! Activities with an uncircumcised penis generally require less lubrication (but not always!), and I have read (although lots of people like to argue with it) that an uncircumcised penis is more sensitive than a circumcised one. Ultimately, like Heather said, it's just one more part of his body that can make him feel good.
