For a while I've had these questions about the male sexual system/what it's like to have a penis.

1.) Do boys gradually start ejaculating a tiny bit and then the amount increases? Or is it like one day, dry orgasms, next day significant ejaculate? Was the first time you ejaculated very surprising?

2.) Do you wipe your penis after peeing? I've heard of 2 guys who do this but I don't know if it's common. Any thoughts on this? Why would it be necessary for some men and not for others?

3.) When you pee sitting down on a toilet do you still have to aim?

4.) When you're masturbating is it difficult to catch all of the semen? I have the image from porn of guys always ejaculating onto their stomachs and it sometimes looks like a lot of semen to deal with.

5.) On a scale of 1-10 how much do you worry about having erections in public? It would terrify me having my genitals be so visible--have you had embarrassing situations having an erection noticed in public (you don't have to describe the situation, I just want to know how common it is).

6.) About how long does it usually take to go from a completely flaccid state to completely erect when you're very aroused?

7.) If "morning wood" is so common, are men just very used to seeing each other aroused in shared college dorm rooms, etc.?

8.) Do your testicles ever interfere with walking or running? Also how do you ride a bike? Do you have to arrange your genitals to ride a bike?

Thanks for answering these personal questions.

ok so i will just start with number 1

1. I remember my first ejaculation in 7th grade. I had masterbated before that and would have dry orgasms; then one day it just came shooting out.
2. I don't wipe my penis after peeing. I don't really need to.
3. When I sit i don't have to aim.
4. It depends. Sometimes I when I masterbate I ejaculate into tissue or my boxers; that makes it very easy to clean up. Other times I just get into the heat of the moment and I just let it go. Then yes it does land on my stomach. But when you see the pornos there is never that much seamen coming out.
5. When I was in junior high (im now in high school) i used to worry a lot about erections. I would say a 9. I only wore jeans to school because I was worried about the erections. Now its probably a 2 or 3. They just don't happen spontaiusly anymore.
6. If im very arroused about 2-3 minutes .on average 6-9
7. Yes morning wood is very common for me. I have never been to college so i cant answer that
8. I wouldn't say they interfeere but sometime they do stick to my legs that sort of thing. In sports compression shorts help keep everything in place. Biking doesnt trouble me at all.

SO thats live with a penis

To be honest, excellent questions. We all wonder. [Smile]

1) For a lot of guys, the first time they notice ejaculate is as emissions while they're sleeping; certainly was for me. The first time I masturbated to orgasm was after that happening, so I wouldn't know about the other part of your question.
The first time I ejaculated was fairly OK: I'd heard of night emissions happening, so I wasn't overly surprised. (I'm going to great lengths to avoid the words 'wet dream' [Razz] ). As part of masturbation though, it was quite a shock - I was doing it out of curiosity more than anything and I had no idea that was supposed to happen, or so much.

2) Yes.

3) Yes (certainly with an erection, but also without, more out of habit I guess).

4) The amount varies from time to time, and sometimes you get 'men overboard', yes. Actually, to get round this problem, I found it's often easier to masturbate in the shower.

5) Most trousers are thick enough to hold down an erect penis, provided it's angled right at the time. A quick adjustment is all that's really needed, hand in pocket. It's not obvious. I'd say maybe 2 or 3.

6) Can't say I've ever timed it, but I'd guess maybe thirty seconds when very aroused, sometimes quicker but not often.

7) No. Morning wood is a true thing (erections happen during all male dreams), but a) morning wood tends to disappear quite quickly compared to most erections, and b) it's easily concealable.

8) No. Testicles hang just in front of the space directly between the legs, so they don't really get in the way there. Running with an erection, however, can be awkward, just because it has a tendency to move from side to side with that motion. Walking wouldn't do that.
As for cycling, I personally find that the area in contact with the saddle doesn't reach far enough forward for it to be an issue.

For frame of reference, I'm 17 and at university.

There's a good guide to male sexual anatomy here
http://www.scarleteen.com/article/body/anatomy_mans_best_friend_male_sexual_anatomy

Allot of these answers may vary from person to person by the way as everyone is different.

Regarding testicles and walking; thankfully testicles are quite mobile, and manage to evade injury in a number of maneuvers.

1.) Do boys gradually start ejaculating a tiny bit and then the amount increases? Or is it like one day, dry orgasms, next day significant ejaculate? Was the first time you ejaculated very surprising?
--------------------------------------------------
With me, it started slow and gradually moved up in amounts. I was a bit surprised, but it was just a day where I was experimenting, going further than before. And I had had plenty of Sex ed. by then, so I recognised what happened. I think I was 12-13 (class 1 or 2, High School, not sure what grade that is)
-------------------------------------------------
2.) Do you wipe your penis after peeing? I've heard of 2 guys who do this but I don't know if it's common. Any thoughts on this? Why would it be necessary for some men and not for others?
-------------------------------------------------
I don't. I do squeeze a bit to make sure there's no droplets left. It's not really nescesary, since I don't find urine a particularly dirty substance.
-------------------------------------------------
3.) When you pee sitting down on a toilet do you still have to aim?
-------------------------------------------------
No clue. I do aim as an automatic reaction
-------------------------------------------------
4.) When you're masturbating is it difficult to catch all of the semen? I have the image from porn of guys always ejaculating onto their stomachs and it sometimes looks like a lot of semen to deal with.
-------------------------------------------------
I usually 'finish off' at the toilet, since I always want to pee afterwards anyway. By the end I've had my major sensation already anyway, so it's just finishing off in a casual way
-------------------------------------------------
5.) On a scale of 1-10 how much do you worry about having erections in public? It would terrify me having my genitals be so visible--have you had embarrassing situations having an erection noticed in public (you don't have to describe the situation, I just want to know how common it is).
-------------------------------------------------
0. I don't really care about what people see or don't see. I often wear shirts and sweaters long enough to cover my groin anyway. And I actually mostly have erections when sitting.

And if someone would talk to me about it, I would probably ask him/her "What do you care?"
-------------------------------------------------
6.) About how long does it usually take to go from a completely flaccid state to completely erect when you're very aroused?
-------------------------------------------------
I don't generally use a clock... I think about 10 seconds if I get really aroused at once. Usually the situation doesn't occur at once, so I am already in between states, as it were.
-------------------------------------------------
7.) If "morning wood" is so common, are men just very used to seeing each other aroused in shared college dorm rooms, etc.?
-------------------------------------------------
Those few times I shared a tent/room with another guy, I never noticed. Then again, I don't look for it either, I don't really care.
-------------------------------------------------
8.) Do your testicles ever interfere with walking or running? Also how do you ride a bike? Do you have to arrange your genitals to ride a bike?
-------------------------------------------------
I never pay much attention to this either. I'm a rather experienced cyclist (>50k km I guess), but they never bother me. I just sit on the saddle and go.

I must add here that I am not using a sport bicycle most of the time, but my day-to-day bicycle. It has a slightly broader saddle, to allow for a more comfortable ride. On speed bicycles, the main problem I experience is a cut of blood, causing my whole genital area to tingle once I get off my bike (only after 20km or something). Can be solved while riding by just leaning with your elbows on the handlebars.
