Sorry for asking so many questions, but in the words of Alice Piezecki (from the L Word), "There's a lot going on down there."

I'm almost 16 years old. A couple weeks ago at this feminist festival, I took a workshop about sex, geared towards young women. Long story short, I ended up getting a free vibrator.

It's actually a really good vibrator, and I ended up giving myself my first orgasm. It's the layaspot vibrator, and it's not one you use internally and it doesn't look like a penis, but is it still horribly glaringly inappropriate for a 15-16 year old to be using a vibrator? (Is there a reason they don't sell them to under 18's?) I feel like a little bit of a perve. Plus I'm scared to death that my parents will find it, although I can say, "I'm using it to massage my, um, neck."

Also, I feel like I want to buy lube - but I still feel pervy. Am I?

There's no reason you should feel "pervy" for exploring your sexuality! You said in a previous post your parents are super-conservative, so that could certainly be contributing some negativity.

I'll refer you to an article or two that should put things in some prospective. [Smile]

10 of the Best Things You Can Do for Your Sexual Self (at Any Age)

Is Masturbation Okay? (Yep.)
