Hey Scarleteen Members! I am I long time member here, having both expressed my concerns/problems on these boards as well as helped others. I need some help from you guys. I am conducting research for a university on sex education. So I ask kindly if you would take part in a small survey, as well as give me personal advice. For personal advice, I need to conduct a field observation on sex education. A field observation is good old fashioned looking around in “real” life (i.e. not in a lab and not scripted). Any ideas on what I could observe that would help me out in the sex education world?

Onto the survey!

1. How old were you when you first received sex education in school?
C

2. Did you ever receive abstinence-only sex education from your school?

3. Do you believe that abstinence-only sex education should be required in public schools?
B - hells no.

4. Where did you learn most of your sex education?

5. Do you believe the sexual media is a bad influence on kids today?

6. What age should kids learn about safe sex?

7. Where do you think kids today should learn their sex education?
ACDE - friends tend to not know less than you'd think. And F - books.

8. Should schools teach sex education at all?
A

Free Response:

9. What religion are you?
Christian (Catholic) technically, but I do not see myself as a Catholic. I don't really believe in organized religion. I believe in a God, and also in a guy called Jesus Christ who had some good stuff to say, and who maybe was the Son of God. I believe in a next life, but not on this planet, and I believe in morals, that's about the extent of my religion.

10. How old are you?
16
11. Gender:
Male
