I got this weird bleeding today. I don't know what it is. Could it be a very early period? My last period ended on the 13th of this month. But this time it's light; came out with a burst of red and then it started to bleed less. Or could it be side effects from taking EC that I took 5 days ago? Or maybe it has to do with my vegeterianism and my body (started to workout a little)? Or could it be something else...? o_o;;

It could very well be side effects from EC, as taking that tends to screw with people's cycle quite a bit - it's essentially a huge dosage of hormones, so your body might get thrown out of whack a little for this cycle. If the bleeding is very heavy for a very long time (like, significantly longer than your normal period), get it checked out by your GYN, but if it seems to be tapering off - which is the impression I got from your post - then you should be just fine. Ooh okay. Thanks. [Big Grin]

But will my actual period arrive at the expected time? Or... will it still whacky and weird?

You're very welcome! [Smile]

And your period may show up at the expected time, or it may not - with EC, the effects vary from one person to the next. So just be prepared for some weirdness this cycle, and don't freak out if it doesn't come on time! Your body should settle down around your next cycle.

Thanks again, but... it seems more like an early period now. Just a bit lighter than usual. Is that okay and just the EC effects? o__o;;

Honey, it's already explained very well by LucyDiamonds that this is normal. EC is a huge dose of hormones, and your body is probably going to be a little wacky for a bit. I promise you, this bleeding is nothing to worry about.
