I seem to be getting a lot of air in my vagina recently. I mean, I expect it after I've had sex, but I haven't been with my boyfriend in a week. I am on nuvaring, but I haven't touched it since this past Saturday when I put a new one in. This happened once in a blue moon before sex, hardly ever before nuvaring, and now it happens a little too often for my liking. I don't especially like how I can't control the timing of the release of air. How come this is happening? Is the nuvaring creating a pocket of air? If so, should I just reposition the ring?
