I'm having an extremely weird problem and I need your help. Monday morning I woke up at 6am and really had to go to the bathroom, I went and afterwards I felt like I still had to go. Every 10 minutes I was in the bathroom attempting to urinate. It seems as though when I was trying to urinate is when it stopped hurting. It's kind of painful and really annoying. I'm in college and my roommate suggested that I drink a bottle of water. So, while I walked to class, I chugged one down and in the middle of the class, the feeling started to go away. I don't know if the two are connected, but whatever. Now it's Tuesday morning and I'm experiencing the same thing all over again. I had already planned to go to the health center if it didn't go away within 24 hours. I just want to know if anyone knows what's wrong with me before I get there and if there is any way to make the pain stop other than sitting on the toilet for hours. Are there bladder infections where it hurts when you aren't urinating? Someone help, please. Thank you.

I don't need help anymore. I talked to my mom a minute ago and she said I most definitley have a bladder infection, it's happened to her before. I know she's not a doctor, therefore, she isn't 100% right, but I am going to the health center as soon as it opens.

Excellent. It does sound like a bladder infection. Glad to see you're going to get it taken care of. Good luck !
