I've been using this site for a while, although just registered recently due to a concern i've been having. I've been sexually active for some time now. Neither me or my partner have stds or infections, but i've been noticing a severe loss of sensitivity during any sexual activity with my partner. I do masterbate, and haven't noticed the loss in sensitivity there. I was put on anti depressants recently, but a very low dose. I'm just confused, and i don't want my girl friend freaking out because she thinks she's somehow messing up. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Sounds like you may be experiencing a REALLY common effect BOTH of depression and of SSRI use. It's a bit odd that you're only experiencing it with your partner, but even that poses some factors which could make it sensible.

I'd suggest talking to the doctor who is treating you for depression about the issue. And in the meantime, you can just go ahead and tell your partner that you don't know why yet, but you are experiencing this: it's important for partners to be able to be honest in that regard, and being honest in this case is likely to allay the worries you're concerned about her having.

After all, lack of love or attraction doesn't cause loss of physical sensitivity -- same goes for someone performing a given sexual activity a certain way, so being honest can let her know this is an issue that might impact her, but it isn't about her.

I'll talk to my doctor about that, but i don't know how much it can really change. I'm on the anti depressants to help prevent tension head aches...so...
I guess along theline it could just be stress, or the pressure of being caught in the act. School just let out, so i'll see if the lack of stress helps any before i talk to my doctor about it since they help more then any other medicines i've been on yet.
