What is dry sex? Iv heard a few versions and now i'm a bit lost can anyone help me out?

OK well slang does tend to be vague, but here goes....

Dry sex is when you simulate having sex but without actually engaging your genitalia. Mostly it refers to doing this with some clothes on (either one or both partners), and can also be called dry humping. It is dry because you are wearing clothes, so there should not be any fluid risks involved.

Some people use dry sex to mean any sort of messing around without actually putting penis in the vagina. But bear in mind that gay couples can also engage in dry sex.

(Just FYI: that IS sex. It's not a simulation of anything. It's actually a very common form of lesbian sex, for instance.

In other words, there are many, many kinds of sex, in which intercourse is only one, and most forms of genital sex involve some type of "humping.")
