hi, I've recently gone on the pill because my boyfriend had a problem staying erect whenever we used condoms.
The trouble is, since we started having sex again (I was travelling for two months and then we waited for the pill to kick in, so it's been a while) its been really painfull for me.
I think it might be because he's quite big, and perhaps wasn't as big/erect when we had sex before because of the condom thing (we were both virgins before meeting each other, so i don't have any comparison). I was wondering if there was anything else it could be/ anything we could do to make it more comfortable. its starting to become a sore (lame pun i know) subject for us both.

thanks for reading, x

Firstly, i strongly suggest both of you get tested for STDs. You stated you were both virgins before, but strange things do happen, and not all STDs are spread by penetrative sex. Unless you were the one to take the plastic wrap off him, then it's good to have test results to serve as a reference point. if you don't think you have anything, then you have nothing to fear

now moving on, you should 1. Make sure you are very sexually aroused. How aroused? So much so that you can scarcely contain yourself. This will give your genitals the chance to get ready. Your vagina can expand in the back and lubricate. This makes penetration easier. step 2. use water-based lube. LOTS of it. Sometimes nature isn't enough, so you can help it along by buying some Astroglide.
