Yes, simultaneous orgasm is the rarity, not the norm.
Not sure what's so odd about that, though. Sexual response and orgasm are highly individual, and there's really nothing in physiology to support that any two people *should* reach orgasm at the same moment very often.
I know there's nothing wrong with it. It's just that it happened while my boyfriend and I were having sex the other day and I was wondering if it's likely to happen again at some point or if we just got lucky.
