Can your period cause a fever? And my mom said suposably if you have fever during your period it means your most fertile or something like that.

Yes, or at least I usually do. One, maybe 2 days of my period as well as around ovulation I will usually run a slight fever.
As far as being more fertile, I'll leave that question for staff because the last thing I want to do is be wrong.

Honestly, I've never heard that.

Getting your period can cause the body temperature to rise a degree or more, so it may feel like a fever.

I think your mother might be refering to charting your basal temperatures, but let me check in on that.

A woman's basal temperature rises when she is ovulating. However it is usually not enough to be considered a fever. Charting the rise and fall of basal temperature is part of the fertility awareness program that many women use when trying to become pregnant.
