I thought I posted this topic last night, but maybe my computer was off or something. In any case, if it's already here somewhere and I missed it, someone can just tell me.

My question is this: I had an STD risk and I am going to get tested. The issue for now is this rash I have on my arm. It's pretty swollen and looks like a bunch of little bug bites really close together. My question is - before I have my appointment - is there any STD that could give me a rash on my arm or is it entirely unrelated? It could be from stress, too. Who knows.

It's probably an unrelated issue. If your appointment is coming up really soon and the rash isn't gone by then, you might mention it to the doctor examining you. Otherwise, I'd suggest going easy on that area (don't scratch it or bother it or put anything fragranced, etc. on it) and maybe treating it with some OTC hydrocortisone if it's really bothering you. Other than that, keep an eye on it. If it starts to spread, hurt, itch worse or do anything wonky, get yourself to a doctor to have it looked at.
