Is it true that when you take painkillers while on the pill , it makes the pill less effective? I've heard this but I don't know if it's true. Ok thanks.

If you mean generic painkillers like Acetaminophen (Tylonol) or Ibuprofin, no, they do not affect the effectiveness of the pill. I'm fairly certain nprescribed narcotic pain killers do not, either.

Though, if you're ever doubtful of any medication affecting the pill's effectiveness, just check the patient/drug information packets that come with the pills, OR ask the doctor who prescribed them to you or the pharmacist, and that way you'll know for sure.
