I am on the patch and have been for about 5 months.

I was wondering how long after you remove the 3rd patch, does it take for your period to come. I took my patch off on Wednesday, and it still isnt here yet. Is this normal?

The patch operates that same way as the pill. Pill users can wait even 4 days before that period comes back. So two days off the patch is not likely to be a big deal. But you've been on the patch long enough to have observed patterns. is this length of wait out of your ordinary?

Gumdrop--

See, the reason I am asking is because, I usually get my period while I still am on the third patch.

I think my body is becoming regular with the patch. I never had to wait for my period to come. Usually it would already be here, by the time I removed the last patch.

Thats the reason why im asking. Thanks for helping.

If you think this new adjustment is going to compromise your protection, you should ask your doctor. a lot of people's cycle do adjust. Mine did after a few months, but the pill was still working. Of course ... in others they no longer have adequate protection against pregnancy. Why gamble? Call your doc and ask him/her if it's okay to keep using the patch. And always back up with condoms in general. That's not just advice for people with iffy brth control hormones, it's good for everyone to follow.
