Is it safe for to use a vibrator? I've been inserting it. Is that ok?

Your real worry is hygeine. Can you sterilize the vibrator in boiling water? If not, cover it with a condom. Discard the condom and wash the vibrator in warm soapy water after use.

Is the vibrator meant to be used sexually, or is it a back massager? Sometimes back massagers can be dangerous if they get wet.

Not all vibrators are made for insertion. Insertable vibrators are generally shaped to be dildos and made of a material that can be cleaned.

the Hitachi Magic Wand is NOT intended for insertion. Smaller "pocket rocket" models are also not intended for insertion.

The last thing you need is for the batteries to get wet with your vaginal fluids. Vag. fluid is acidic, so if you add batteries, you can get quite a horrible shock. Try explaining that to the doc in the ER. So use things as directed.
