my boyfriend and I recently started having sex. Up until this point I was a virgin, he has had other partners. He was tested before we had sex. But my question is should I be aroused when he fingers my anus.

No, you shouldn't be -- there's no 'should' to this. But are you, or do you want to be? Because that's just fine too.

Tested or no tested, unrpotected anal penetration is one of the most high risk activities there is. Use a glove if you're going to do finger penetration, or a condom over his finger, and be sure to use a latex-safe lubricant: the anus is NOT self-lubricating, and has delicate tissues than can tear easily. Period, end of story.

If you want to know more about your anus and sexual issues regarding the anus and rectum, you can find them here:

Should you be aroused? Your body isn't a computer. Push this button and the printer should work. It's more like, well, a body. It really depends on the person.

Actually, my body is like a computer: pretty darn unpredictable! Double-clicking on solitaire pops up a neat card game for two years...and then one day it reboots the computer. Go fig.
