Last night, my boyfriend came over and we made love. i am on the pill and i just started my period yesterday. well.. me and my boyfriend didnt use a condome. and he had asked me if i wanted him to pull out or to let him cum inside of me with out a condome. usually when we have sex he does it, but he is wearing a condome, so it doesnt fase him. i said it didnt matter. so he did it. he came inside me. well, afterwards... he was a little worried. ok, very worried i should say. he asked me if i was sure i couldnt get pregnate. i told him, i am on the pill, and i am on my period. so we should have nothing to worry about. yeah, i am a tad worried too.. but he called me this morining before he went to work and he was a nervous wreck. I want to try to make him to calm down a bit cause i am very worried about him. can you help?? ~*Smiley*~

Doesn't that sound simple? It is. The truth is, if you aren't using one, there are plenty of good reasons to worry. Not only is the pill not 100% effective, it doesn't so squat when it comes to protecting you and him against STDs and infections.
Make a vow from here on in to really do the things that will make you both have some peace of mind, and keep you healthy, instead of trying to dismiss them.
No amount of denial or hope can do better than that.

You are 100% SAFE, because you got your period and you are on Bill. Don't worry about it.

Here's the thing: unless someone is simply an insanely neurotic worrier, it is okay to worry, and quite reasonable to do so.
To be frank, if you have all of the things going on our sex readiness checklist, yes, your worries are minimal.
But trying to get someone not to worry about something that involves everyone's health just doesn't seem fair, especially when you aren't really covering all your bases.
