I have my password stored so I never have to put it or my username in. But lately the computer 'forgets' to put in my username or password (or both!). It appears to happen randomly, and I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this phenomenom? My year (for password storage) shouldn't be up for a long time yet....

real poetry is all based on this old myth about this beautiful, scary, trippy goddess who the poet wants to possess but he always loses her to this shadowy other guy - Girl Goddess #9

Are you using just the "check this box to store it" method?

I've got that box checked, but I also have Mozilla [*nix/Windows] storing my password for me (so it automagically fills in both boxes for me anyway). It's relatively easy to pull the password out of the file, but Internet Explorer [Windows] offers similar functionality if you want to give it a go.

Unless you're a Mac person. Then I haven't the foggiest.

I use Netscape Navigator 4.7 and it never remembers my password.
