I'm trying to seek out some information for a friend of mine who just came out as being transgendered female. She's going through a really stressful time - her once-supportive girlfriend broke up with her and she's having a lot of problems at work, and she can no longer afford the therapist she used to go to.
One of the problems she says she keeps encountering is that she can't find a transgender-friendly therapist that actually takes insurance. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good therapist in the Bel Air-ish area that I could recommend to her?

Scroll down the page a bit to the "mental health" section, and there's a lengthy list of both individual therapists and clinics in Maryland and the capital area geared towards trans people. If you like, we can also put a shout out on our twitter feed to see if anyone can recommend some resources.

Thank you so much. And if you could put up that shout-out, it would be super helpful.
