I hope that you won't find this message inappropriate, but it's something that is really bothering me...

I am 20 years old, mostly female, I've been sexually active (with other people) for a little over a year. I'm currently in my second intimate relationship. The first was with a boy (whom I loved), this is with a girl (whom I also love).

My problem is that, though I am very deft at giving pleasure (at least, according to my current partner), I really suck at recieving it. I've been masturbating since I was seven, I am very open about everything, I'm extremely comfortable with my body, but when it comes to sex... I've only actually had one orgasm in my entire life (with my previous partner). And it's not for lack of persistence.

I love having sex. For the most part, I get pleasure out of it. I have tried being patient and just expecting that it'll come with more experience, but it's really frustrating for my partner because she feels like everything is one-sided. And I find it frustrating, too. It looks like so much fun...

Do you know of anything I can do to help this? Should I experiment more on my own? Should I try throwing "props" into the mix? I'm really ready for something to happen.

Yeah. Thank you.

(By the way, thank you for this site. It has taught me a lot, and I've recommended any number of people to it.)
