I know I'm not supposed to write posts that contain emails but this is desperate. We need as many GLBT students as possible to turn out at the upcoming Maryland State Board of Education meeting, this Tuesday. At the meeting a resolution will be voted on which if passed would protect GLBT students from harassment in schools under Maryland state law. The opposition will come. PLEASE respond; come out about instances of harrassment in schools. Make sure no GLBTQ student ever has to walk the halls in fear in the state of Maryland again! PLEASE email [---EDITED---] or [----EDITED-----] for details. WE NEED YOU!!

ice_magick, it would still be appropriate for you to post details of this meeting such as time and place here and invite all Scarleteeners who believe in this cause and are within travelling distance to attend.
