I love this site for so many reasons. It delivers sex-ed in a format that is interesting, informative and most importantly tells all the options, not just one. I love that it is a place that I can get out any of my worries without being judged. It is this site that convinced me that I should apply my "it's okay to be LGBT" rule to myself. I love this site because it is unprejudiced, it is a place where I can come and be me. The anonymity of it is also fantastic, notice you never read any questions starting with my friend has this problem... Oh and what makes me quite partial to it is that it is the best resource I have for information on sexual orientation.
Thank you Scarleteen, I really appreciate everything you are doing. Heather you rock for starting (and doing such a great job with) this site!

So, my state has absolutely horrible sexual education programs. And the abstinence only group that came to my middle school completely scared me out of ever having sex... EVER! But Scarleteen definitely helped banish those fears.
While I still plan on abstaining until marriage, due to religious and financial reasons and simply because I'm not ready yet, I have a lot of really great information for when I do plan on having sex.
Plus, I've gotta say, it'd be more reassuring to me, when I become a parent, if my children have information about safe sex rather than forcing abstinence on them.
So, thank you for this wonderful site!

Devanie, can I just say that I'm glad you want your children to make their own choices about their own bodies instead of having to do what you did, if parents would live by this principle then young people would be a heck of a lot better off.
