Hi, I'm an italian medical student. I'm part of the italian association of medical students and through that we're organizing peer education meetings with high schools students. I wanted to get a book that provides accurate information about sex and sexuality in a way that is 100% understandable also by people who aren't in the medical field. I'd have liked to have this kind of book both to raccomand it to the high-school students and the universities students. I went to different book shops and looked for it on the internet and couldn't find any. I found a lot of books about how approching sex, but nothing that could be educational and that spoke about scientific facts. In order to understand italian books that talk about scientific facts dealing with sex you have to be at least a third year medical student. So I started to look for that kind of book in english and I found your book "SEX: the all you need to know progressive sexuality guide to get you through high school and college" I ordered it from the internet and I'm reading it right now. I'm finding it very educative and I would like to be able to reccomand it, but unfortunately most italian young people don't speak english enough fluently to read a book in english. Is there any chance your book gets translated into italian? I think it could be a very useful book for the general population and also for our asociation and the sex ed. sessions. Thanks

Ultimately, the way translations work in publishing is that the publishing company either sees a market (in other words, the ability for them to do big sales) in a given area or language and decides to translate or a publisher in that language or region purchases the rights from the original publisher to do a translation.
Alas, all of this is totally out of my control.
I agree, that some translations would be fantastic (and half my family being Italian, I'd love an Italian translation), but unless my publishing company or another decides the same for themselves, it won't happen.
You are, however, absolutely welcome to translate parts of it on your own and use those for your meetings. If that's something you want to do, consider yourself having my complete permission.
