Scarleteen saved me! And I only regret I didn't find it before, because I wasn't ready nor well informed enough to have sex when I first did.
I want to help other people to get all this information on readiness, safe sex and BC, relationships, communicative sex, consent/abuse and everything else at Scarleteen.
So I'm going to make posters and brochures with the link and some basic information. You've really inspired me to go out and help people!

But there's something else. Although English is the most international language, not everyone speaks it well enough to understand this site's articles or to send questions.
So I was thinking of helping my community by giving an e-mail address to which they can write asking for information, and I'd find the best related articles at Scarleteen, translate them to Spanish and e-mail them back. Of course, I'd always give the link to the original article and state who's the author. But anyway I felt I had to ask if you're ok with that.
I also think I could submit questions to the boards on their behalf.

So, how do you like it?

If you want to offer to independently translate for friends and others in your circles, that certainly is something I think is great. What we just can't do is certify the information you give as an organization. But you don't need our permission to do something like this on your own!

I'd just make clear that we don't have a translator on staff, so questions submitted to us, to be answered by us, do need to be in English. I know that's restrictive, but it is what it is: we just don't have the resources to hire translators to be available enough to answer questions here in anything other than English, and I want to make sure no one expects something of us we're unable to provide.
