Miz Scarlet -

Over the weekend I talked to my friends in Oklahoma. They would want to start a group IF they weren't grad students. The general consensus was that making a stand in a politically conservative state would not be good for their careers at this point. Disappointing... but I think once they get established, they'll be a lot more forthright about their views.

I really appreciate your offer to help. If I hear about any pro-choice murmurings at that school, I'll direct them to you.

(I edited your title, because you'd typed pro-life accidentally, which I know you didn't mean to do.)

Sadly, those IFs may always be that way, and all the more so once thy are established: their risks now are far lesser than they ever will be.

That happens a lot with people, and rarely does die down.
