Ok. How do you type something in a reply (mostly) so that it highlights pink and somebody can click on it and be to that page?
For example:

I type www.google.com and it highlights pink, so people can click and find themselves there.

But how do you make stuff like "Safer Sex for you Heart" or "look at this" to become highlighted. I'm totally stumped.

Thanks.

How do you encase a UBB code?

You don't need to. Just type in the appropriate UBB code, and it'll work.

For instance, if you want to make a link to the guidelines, with the word "guidelines" as the text that becomes the link, you'd type this, but using the square brackets rather than the curly brackets I'm using below to make the code show up ('cause if I use the square brackets, the board will think I want to enter a real link, and won't show you what I did):

{URL=http://www.scarleteen.com/boards/guidelines.html}guidelines{/URL}

and when your post comes up, you'd then see this: guidelines

However, it's perfectly fine to just type in a URL such as http://google.com -- the board will automatically turn anything that starts with http:// into a link for you, no code required!
