hey....i was talking to a guy friend of mine and he was telling me about this porn he watched and what a turn on it was....then he asked me whether i'd find porn a big turn on or not..and that got me thinking...are women not sexually stimulated by vision?...can women get sexually aroused by vision alone (no touch)?....any ideas?
yeah....i get what you mean...i wouldn't mind watching a porn with someone, or with a whole bunch of friends so we can all laugh about it and have fun (i doubt i'd get turned on then!)...but if someone gave me a porn i'd maybe watch it out of curiosity..doubt i'd get turned on then either...a storyline porn would help maybe..hehe...i guess guys do go for porn that cuts straight to the sex...oh well...
Violent or unusual porn does excite some people, or else no one'd bother making it. Whether or not someone finds porn a turn-on really varies by person, just like all other sexual preferences.

i dont like to watch porn without being touched, but to make a comment on what girl said in my opinion i dont like the story lines. i would rather them get straight to the point. i like porn to be on to set the mood but as for actually watching it i dont really get into it at all.

OK... when my friends and I had all turned 18 we first went to clubs, and then I bought cigarettes (terrible mistake smoking sucks! I'm a quitter!) registered to vote, and then we pondered, "What else can we do w/ this legal adulthood?" OH yeah we can RENT DIRTY MOVIES!!!! So, on a boring Tuesday summer night we all headed to our local porn shop named Priscilla's. 2 of the 4 friends that were with me freaked out by the time we got to the dildos section and waited for my remaining friend and I in the car as we carefully deliberated about which movie to rent. We were so disappointed to find that not most, but ALL the movies were all geared towards guys w/ titles that included, "Big Breasted Woman!" "Asian Delights!" "Girl-Next Door Goes Bad!" etc.etc. Where was the "Six-pack Sex Machine!" "They Call Me the Horse!" or "College Hotties!" ????? They were no where to be found... we thought certainly if there's a "Playgirl" magazine, that there'd be Porn movies made for women too right? Wrong!!! We approached the young girl who worked there and asked her if they had any movies for women. She led us to a section marked "Women's Movies" a very small row in the back. She then said, "These have a storyline and plot to them. Oh, and they're more romantic, women seem to like that kind of stuff." We asked her if they had any HOT GUY movies... not romantic crapt, we wanted six packs, buns, nice packages... hot guys!!!! She said they didn't carry anything like that. Our once idle hopes for finding porn turned into nothing more than a dream. We ended up purchasing a 1970's porn that had a plot about drug dealing and prostition, we fast forwarded through the pathetic sex scences and laughed at them too. That was my adventure into the world of porn. It was quite a disillusioning experience to say the least.

Yes, women can be aroused by vision. The reason that you don't see many women who like porn (or at least admit they do...)? Most porn is geared towards heterosexual men. For example, here is an excerpt from the women's adult resource Lilith (can't post a link to it, because it's for adults)
"The 'Net is a wonderful place, especially for exploring your sexuality in the privacy of your own home. But as I searched through adult sites for sexual information or erotic images and words, I saw instead photo after photo of naked women ecstatically giving blowjobs. Now, I have nothing against giving a blowjob, but from my experience, that's not all there is for a woman to do during sex. I also felt that if I saw the phrase, "Hot Women Willing to Satisfy Your Every Desire" one more time, I would become celibate. "
I think that is how a lot of women view adult related material. Fear not! There is pornography that both men and women can enjoy, and the market is expanding.
Actually, this got a little off topic. It depends what you consider "arousal". But some women can definitely be aroused (by my definition at least) by vision.
I do enjoy pornography (although I have limited experience with videos, more of just print stuff), and erotic stories. It really depends on my mood...sometimes I just want to find the perfect picture so I can make up my own storyling in my head...and other times I just want to be lazy and read the story.
However, I always need to have that in my head. I can't just look at a pair of boobs and orgasm (as much as I try to, lol )
I really am happy that there are a lot of sex toy shops, erotic websites and porn production companies that are owned and run by women, and I have to say that I do like them more. Although I don't want to see kissing and hand holding and cuddling, it does seem like women know what I want to see better, and it's *not* some DDD blonde giving a guy a blowjob.
