Two days ago, I gave my boyfriend a hand job. We didn't get to finish though and my hand did not come in contact with any semen. It didn't even come in contact with any pre-cum. I washed my hands after and I went outside in the cold to get home. About an hour or so after I got home, I masturbated. I am something of hypochondriac so after I had finished I immediately started thinking about the possibility of there being live sperm on my hand even though he hadn't even ejaculated.

Am I right in believing that it is highly unlikely for me to be pregnant now because of that?

I'm mostly just paranoid because my period hasn't come yet and I was expecting it this week. According to my calendar, it was supposed to come two days ago (the day this whole thing happened). I have read though that being stressed out can delay your period so it might not have come yet simply because I'm freaking myself out thinking "I know it's probably unlikely but what if?". So that's why I'm asking this - just to double check that it is very unlikely that I will become pregnant because of this.

I'm sure you get sick of saying the whole "if your vagina hasn't come in contact with any fresh sperm, it's very unlikely that you will get pregnant" thing over and over but I'm just worried and I need to double check it. Thanks if you read all of that [Smile]

Not sure if you've seen this, but if not, you'll find it a handy reference.

Pregnancy Scared?

Even if you had gotten ejaculate all over your hands, washing them afterwards would have taken care of everything. Sperm are a lot less resilient than bacteria and handwashing does an awesome job getting rid of bacteria, so.... [Smile]
Not to mention that sperm need their seminal fluid in order to move, so just having some fluid on your hand won't make you pregnant.

In other words, you're just fine.

Yeah, I did end up reading that after I posted. I figured I was okay and that I was just freaking myself out, I just needed to hear someone else say it.

Thank you for taking the time to reply [Smile]
