I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend[ we are both clean and aware that I might get pregnant]. We've bee having unprotected sex for about 3 months now, first two months I got my period. Now this month, I was supposed to get my period April 25th, but since I'm usually a few days late I didn't think it was a big deal..Well now its the 11th of May. And nothing. I've been gettig headaches and waking up with somewhat of a nausea feeling every now and then. I took one test and it came out negative. Could I still be pregnant? My sister took abut 4 tests and they came out negative, and she had a baby, and my friend took 2 and they came out negative as well and shes pregnant now. Should I buy a set of 2 more tests? Plus, I haven't realy been changing my diet or anything, and not stressed out...

Plenty of people don't take tests properly, don't read the results properly, the works. And yes, some people also have false negatives sometimes, even when tests are used properly.

Obviously, pregnancy is a possibility in your case, so testing would be wise. Are you using tests properly, and taking them in the proper time period?

If you've been preparing to become pregnant, you also might simply contact the OB/GYN you've been seeing for a test at his or her office.
