My girlfriend started her last period on Dec. 1. We had sex on Dec. 18th, and right after we started the condom broke. I noticed immediately and pulled out, then I took that condom off, put another one on and we continued. Neither of us thought anything of it at the time, but then she missed a period. So she took a pregnancy test and it was negative. That was a relief, until she missed another period. So she took another pregnancy test, and once again it came out negative. She should have started her 3rd period yesterday, but she didn't. I know that we are both REALLY stressing about it now but could that stress have caused 3 missed periods? There was barely any chance of her getting pregnant to begin with, she took 2 negative pregnancy tests, and she is exhibiting no symptoms, but she has missed 3 periods. I am going crazy.

Does anyone have any idea as to what might be going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry you had to wait. Assuming she took the tests correctly, they are likely to be accurate. However, missing three periods is cause for concern; at this point it's time for her to make an appointment with her healthcare provider and figure out what's going on. While pregnancy is certainly not the only reason for late periods, she should mention the risk you described at her appointment so her doctor is fully informed. In the meantime, the two of you can read over M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period? and see if any of it applies.
