Meijer is now offering free prenatal vitamins.
  • NatalCare Plus
  • Ultra Natal Care
  • Natal Care Glosstabs
  • Advanced NatalCare
  • NataTab Rx

Marsh is also offering free prenatals.
  • Advanced NatalCare
  • NatalCare Plus Prenatal Multivitamin/Mineral Tablets
  • NataTab Rx Vitamins and Minerals Tablet with Folic Acid

According to the Dallas Morning News, Minyard Food Stores, Inc. (opperates Carnival, Minyard, and Sack n' Save) are also offering Advanced Natalcare, Natatab Rx and NatalCare Plus at no cost.

According to the Seattle Times, Top Food (Top Food & Drug, Haggen Food & Pharmacy and Larry's Market) has a free prenatals program in Washington & Oregon. The article does not indicate which brands are included.

(All of these programs require that you have an Rx from your doctor. No insurance is required, simply take your prescription to the pharmacy.)

Other retailers, like Target and Walmart offer certain prenatal vitamins at a significantly reduced cost.

Kmart's Women's health prescriptions program offers many prenatals at $15 per 90-day supply.

Note that this requires enrollment in their savings program, however appears to be free and does not appear to involve giving any information beyond what you would give to fill an Rx anyway.

Note: Some of these chains and several others also offer free or reduced costs on other generic prescriptions. For more information about those, check out these other threads...
