ok so i've just been talking to my cousin, telling her how since i've been with my boyfriend i've really put on weight. I've been with him four months and i know that since christmas i've gone up a dress size. so somewhere in the last six months i've gone up a dress size, but my cousin says its more noticeable now. I agree i've definitely put on weight since i've been with this new guy.

But she has just said to me "you're not pregnant are you?" and against all better judgement and despite everything i've seen on here in the last two years, i am now seriously paranoid. I really don't think i am because i am still taking the pill, and i've had four normal withdrawal bleeds since i've been having sex with my boyfriend. There was a couple of days where my tummy was a bit funny but we used condoms as well.

Personally i just thought it was the fact that being happier means you can put on weight and the fact that i'm doing my final A Level exams and therefore the stress is making me gain weight fast. Am i seriously just paranoid or does anyone think i should get checked out?

I don't think you need to get check out. I think, for someone who is not trying to get pregnant, to have someone ask you if you are is going to throw you for a loop, and make you second guess yourself.

You know the facts, as you've been on the boards for a while, so don't psyche yourself out [Smile] Everything seems to be on schedule for you, so there isn't any need to worry.
