Be careful with this. If you're there sometimes, and not there others, this kid could end up being a little confused. It's a little kid, they're dependent on everyone around them. If you give the impression that you're "daddy" when you're around him/her, but back out when you don't feel like playing "daddy", think of how the kid would feel.

Try playing Uncle. [Razz]

Y'know, we usually advise people not to jump the gun until they see a positive pregnancy test for just this reason.

So why not suggest that both of you chill out a little until you find out for sure? Getting stressed and prepared for something that may not even be happening isn't too wise.

Good for you, though, for being so supportive of your friend. [Smile]
