Very concerned...broke my ankle had an x-ray did know. Prescribed and took painrelievers for broken ankle (3 to 5 pills). Found out was pregnant. Will have amninocentesis(spl?) done on 8/17.

It's impossible to say whether the pain medication poses a risk to the fetus without knowing what medication it was.

Whether the x-ray creates a risk will depend on what part of your body was x-rayed (if it was just your ankle, the risk to the fetus is likely to be very small) and how far along in the pregnancy you are.

Obviously this is worrying, but it's quite possible that the risk may actually be minimal. I'd suggest that you talk to your doctor a.s.a.p. to get some medical advice on this.
