You can secrete nicotine through breastmilk. You definitely do NOT want nicotine to get into your baby's body. Exposure to secondhand smoke at this stage can stunt the growth of your baby's lungs, make him/her more prone to allergies, weaken his/her immune system, and make him/her more likely to suffer from asthma.
Smoking totally a ME ME ME habit. But you have a baby now. There is no such things as ME ME ME anymore. You have to do what's right and what's best for your child. That means you need to quit smoking.
