Is it true that in some states you can get an abortion without parents knowing? And wouldn't you at least have to show ID or something? Someone told me it can be really anonymous?

Legal abortion cannot be performed anonymously: there are risks involved, so emergency information, identification and health background is key.

Which state did you need information about per parental notification laws?

According to this website ... There are no parental notification/consent laws in Illinois, but you require parental consent (if you're under 18) in Missouri.

So in Illinois you don't need parents permission even if your under 18 but you do need doctors permission...so therefore wouldn't parents be notified?

Well, you don't need a doctor's permission. A doctor is who performs an abortion procedure. So, there is a doctor involved, period.

But no: per Illinois law right now, parents would not be notified.
