Does it take up to three days for conception or does it take a week at least?

Are you actually considered unofficially pregnant from the first day of your period

One is considered pregnant when sperm has fertilized an egg and the egg has implanted on the uterine wall.

And that process takes about a week.

Because the first day of your LMP allows them to make a fairly accurate estimate of when you ovulated last.

There's no precise way to tell EXACTLY what day conception happened on, but one can do a good guestimate of when a woman ovulated, which would let a doctor know when she conceived.
