Hi
We have been trying to get pregnant and for 4 mo. there has been no success.
I just had a blood work done and the result showed that ovulation did not occur this mont, according to the estrogen level in my blood. My OB Gyn said I need to take fertility pills to raise the level of hormones. I am very confused because I have heard that if you don't ovulate you will not get your period which is not the case with me. I did get my period few days after I had the blood work done.

What should I do? Do you have any advice to give me Please?

Luly

You can still menstruate if you are not ovulating, but it is not the same as menstruating when you have ovulated.

Here you go: http://www.parentsplace.com/expert/fertility/qas/0,,166251_115051,00.html

Ultimately, we're not fertility experts here at Scarleteen just because of the age group we deal with and their concerns are usually to AVOID pregnany. Plenty of us have decent knowledge for laymen, but your fertility expert is going to be the person to listen to (and ask these questions of, too -- that's what you pay for, use it!).
